A Microadventure Invitation – Cycling the Congo Nile Trail

I am planning to cycle the Congo Nile Trail from July 15-21, including a stop at Nyungwe National Park and perhaps the DRC border near Bukavu.  The journey will start in Gisenyi in Northwestern Rwanda and follow the beautiful mountainous roads along Lake Kivu.  The route passes through coffee and tea fields, which ought to help inspire the group to get on the saddle each morning.  The forward-looking RDB has set up various campsites and guesthouse areas along the way, which should make this trip fairly straight forward – no need to carry a whole lot of gear.

I welcome any and all to join the trip – just send me an email via my Contact Me page.  Should be a great adventure!
