Cycling in Hanoi: Three Bridges Route

Three Bridges is Hanoi’s standard circle route for cyclists.  It’s a pretty convenient 40km loop (or 50+ if you’re like me and get lost on single tracks in the corn fields and Red River flood plains) on average sealed roads.  A major plus is the comparative lack of traffic – there are a few motos, but trucks aren’t allowed on the elevated river road.

Nothing thrilling here, but a good option for those eager to get on the saddle.  GPS tracks and Google Map (hardly needed – just cross the Long Bien Bridge and follow the major road north and along the river over two other bridges) here.
